After being overhauled and repainted out of
the WCR blue and white livery to the V/Line mk II livery, BZ267
begun running as an additional carriage on V/Line services from
September 2004.
Seating 66 Economy passengers, seats
are of the original Z car style, with WCR fabric, in a 2x2 set up facing each other. As its Economy seating, they
do not rotate, however, they do recline. Carpets are blue, and the windows
have pull down blinds in place of curtains.
There are
above seat luggage racks, and luggage space, a drinking
fountain, and two rubbish bins, at the West End of the carriage.
A unisex toilet is located in the vestibule area of the the
East End.
Access to the carriage from platforms is by manual opening doors at
the both ends of the carriage.
Air Conditioning and heating is fitted. Manual Push Open doors enable access to the saloon, and
manually opening doors enable access between carriages.
The carriage runs off Head End Power from a
N class
locomotive or a powervan.
