Today, ownership of
locomotive S302 was officially transferred from V/Line Passenger Pty
Ltd to El Zorro.
S302 ran its last revenue
service with V/Line on Friday 13th January 2006, running
Train 8217, the 1240 Southern Cross to
Warrnambool, and Train 8239, the 1745 Warrnambool to Southern Cross.
It was then transferred to Newport Workshops, where it has remained
in storage since.
It is believed S302 will be
running on metropolitan plant trains operated by El Zorro.
