Transfer of Avoca ex Seymour for use on charter to Bendigo

On Wednesday 9th August 2006, dining carriage Avoca was transferred from the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre (SRHC) to Spencer Street.

Avoca was attached to the rear of train 8306, the 0710 up Seymour service, which consisted of N467+VLH33+Avoca, quite a rare sighting for a revenue service!

The carriage will be used on a chartered service from Spencer Street to Bendigo and return on Thursday 10th August 2006.

Details of the chartered service are as follows:-

Consist: N Loco + Victoria + BZN Car + Avoca

Avoca will return to Seymour on Friday 11th August on train 8319, the 1632 down Seymour, with the consist set to be: A Loco+Avoca+FSH Set+PH Van.
