Since Thursday 22nd December 2005, VLocity Units have been operating the majority of services between Southern Cross and Ballarat, and some services between Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Southern Cross in passenger revenue operation on the Ballarat line.

These services include - •  Eight services to Ballarat and seven services from Ballarat each weekday (Monday to Friday)
  •  One Return Service to Bacchus Marsh each weekday (Monday to Friday)
  •  One Return Service to Ararat each day of the week
  •  Five services each way between Ballarat and Southern Cross on Saturdays
  •  Three services each way between Ballarat and Southern Cross on Sundays
   
Bringing a total of 115 services a week on the Ballarat/Ararat line operated by new VLocity Railcars.
